![]() ![]() I should mention that I bought Pathfinder and I use it, it’s quite amazing but I would still prefer keeping the original Finder with a plugin like Totalfinder than a complete alternative solution like PathFinder. The only solution is closing & restarting TotalFinder. This window is completely unusable, cannot move it, cannot close it. I understand for the Finder Extension thing, yeah I was using XtraFinder a long time ago but it doesn’t work anymore on my mac pro either…Xtrafinder always crashes after 10 sec, and Totalfinder runs fine never crashes but never shows up, it just keep sending me the “Trouble Launching TotalFinder” notification. A bugged out rogue Finder window will open sometimes when another mac application requests Finder to open a new window to show the location of a new file / folder. My God if only there was a way of totally bypassing the “Security and Privacy” thing on mac, Windows is way more permissive…This and the not writable Macintosh SSD/System and Macintosh SSD/Library is just pain… I’ll do it if needed but I’ll gladly avoid it if possible. After some digging it seems the culprit was Google Drive. I had the same issue - the problem isn’t with TotalFinder - it was Finder that crashed repeatedly taking TF down with it. Yeah that’s what I though about sudo rm "/Library/Application Support//TCC.db"īut as I have tons of apps and a complex setup I’m afraid it’s gonna take me forever to grant all those permissions again. I’m using the latest version of TotalFinder on Mavericks. I have both PCs (that I build myself) and Macs but my current main Mac Machine is an Intel one :Ģ.7 GHz 12-core Intel Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon (E5-2697 v2) with 30 MB 元 cache. Thanks also for the upcoming 1.14.4 version ! Thanks a million time “akemin_dayo” for your detailed answer ! It’s really appreciated ! What are the risk concerning my current setup and all my other apps ?Īlso I wonder why we are going through all this, cause other apps easily modify the finder like the “New File Menu” app just by enabling Finder Extensions in System Preferences / Extensions / Finder ? Sudo rm "/Library/Application Support//TCC.db"īut I’m worried it would start to break stuff on my system… I tried everything on the " Troubles launching TotalFinder" page. Totalfinder is properly authorized in Security and Privay/Privacy/Automation.īut I still get the “Trouble Launching TotalFinder / TotalFinder Injection Troubles” notification and nothing shows up in the menubar or in the finder even though TotalFinder is running without issue in the background (activity monitor). ![]() Sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.plist DisableLibraryValidation -bool true I ran the following command in Terminal.I tried everything to make it work but still with no success. I hope it will indeed work with the next ver.īut I’m curious, did Anybody managed to make TotalFinder work on the latest Monterey release? (12.6.2)Īm I the only one having this issue or does other people are currently having this issue too ? ![]()
