Consider the amount of fat but especially saturated fat.Sometimes nuggets are mostly breading with very little meat which makes them higher in carbs and lower in protein. Try to find brands that have at least 12 grams of protein per serving. No. Our Review of Just Bare Chicken Nuggets at Costco You have successfully joined our subscriber list.I get this question a lot as a dietitian so let’s talk about it. We think the Just Bare Nugget are good and definitely a higher quality nugget option, especially for adults. We don’t think they are “just like Chick-Fil-A” but they are real pieces of chicken rather than processed chicken. The breading was inconsistent, some had a nice really light breading, others had a pretty thick breading. We super appreciate them being real chicken and while they have less breading, we still think they’re far from the chick-fil-a breading. But, in our quest to feed our kids as much real (ish) food as possible, they’re still a way better option than a traditional nugget. And definitely a more adult-friendly substitute. Have you air fried them? Thoughts/suggestions? Is that the missing component? Maybe I’ll love them in the air fryer? I haven’t bought them again to try them in an air fryer, I’m wondering if they might be a lot better in an air fryer. We thought the overall quality of the chicken in the Just Bare chicken nuggets at Costco was good. We had a few wonky pieces that hit the trash, but on the whole, these are pretty good and we’d buy them again or recommend them to a friend. Definitely a more refined, grown up and higher quality nugget option. That said, truly people LOVE these lightly breaded Costco nuggets. If you’re interested in trying them, I say 100% try them.
